Doctor/Master Fan Art Rec

doctormaster-fan-art-rec

I don’t usually get into fanart, but I love this image of the Doctor and the Master on Gallifrey by [info]postal152. (There’s also a colored version of it here by [info]teastainedbird.)

It captures the likenesses and personalities of the characters so well, and the scene is so evocative. It feels like there’s a whole story behind this moment. And it’s so… I don’t know… romantic, sad, and creepy, all at once, which is such the essence of Doctor/Master.

I’d seen the B&W one, but not the color version. It makes me want to get back to Praxis, even though I have the rest of stupid 38 to get through before there is Mastery goodness.

Yes, please. The universe needs more Praxis.

I’m totally going through withdrawal. I started re-reading but I haven’t left feedback yet (sorry). I’m at chapter 24 which I think is my favorite chapter yet; I just can’t think up a response that will do it justice.

I think after writing pretty solidly since February I needed a little break. Also, RL got a bit time-consuming. I just need to charge back up my writing batteries, and the best way to do that is via fannish inspiration.

Mmm, 24. Versailles was a fun bit.

It sounds like you deserved a break! And we can’t have you getting burned out.

Just look at the pretty, pretty fanart and feel inspired. :)

Clearly what we need here is a writer’s spa.

Oh, and don’t worry about doing anything justice. Frankly, a one-line comment is better than nothing.
